The Way of the Rose

Remembering the Essence of Beauty

Ā

The Way of the Rose is a remembrance that we are the Rose.

A living path of beauty, presence, and love.

In a world that constantly pulls us outward, the Rose invites us inward, toward the quiet knowing of who we are beneath the noise, the roles, and the striving.

She blooms not because she is seen, but because it is her nature to bloom.

Through guided meditation, somatic movement, immersive practices, and sacred song, we will explore how to embody beauty as a way of being and how to bring that beauty into our relationships, our choices, and our everyday lives.

The Rose teaches us that love is strength. Her petals open in vulnerability while her thorns hold clear and sacred boundaries.

Together we will explore:

  • How to remain rooted in beauty while navigatingĀ the non-linearityĀ of life
  • How to embody love with both openness and discernment
  • How to bring more presence, grace, and devotion into everyday living

This is an intimate afternoon of remembrance, connection, embodiment, and community.

Come as you are.

Leave with the fragrance of the Rose woven a little more deeply into your life.

YOUR GUIDES

AUDE BARRAS - Tantric Lineage Practitioner, Pilgrimage Guide, Devotee of the Rose

Through many paths, traditions, and seeming lifetimes of exploring feminine embodiment,Ā I found my way in an ancient, living, tantric lineage of Goddess worship, where in an instant of profound recognition, it was revealed that the Rose had always been the way.Ā

Born Christian, the divine mother had called me outside of my own cultural context to be touched by the holy, before returning back to my original faith in the mysticism of Magdalene. Led to the cave of Sainte Baume on the feast of Mary Magdalene, I eventually realized I was unknowingly following in the footsteps of the legends of Magdalene’s walk through the rose ways of southern France.Ā

Beyond the mind, beyond my own understanding, beyond comprehension, in a depth of mystery still unveiling itself today, I began to follow a longing and relentless call to live and walk the trails where Mary Magdalene is said to have come after her exile from the holy land.

Years later, on a winter solstice in Avebury — a Celtic site dedicated to the Goddess — a call was heard, a stone whispered, ā€œIt is time to bring people on the land to simply be Love.ā€ Ever since, I have guided intimate pilgrimages of remembrance, where each who walk offer recognition, as petals of beauty, reawakening the long forgotten lines of the Rose in southern France.

Ā

LESLIE L. BOST - Spiritual Director, Retreat Leader, Founder of Casa Damara & Devotee of the Rose.

"Why did you move to France?" people often ask me.
My answer usually surprises them: ā€œMary Magdalene told me to.ā€

My connection to Mary Magdalene started when I was a child. Raised catholic in Mexico, I once saw a movie about the story of Jesus, and Mary Magdalene was one of the characters. It was the first time I remember knowing her name. Something in her misrepresentation of this film profoundly impacted me. It awakened a thread of remembrance I couldn’t yet name, but never forgot.

Years later, after walking through layers of trauma, loss, motherhood, marriage, and healing, I reconnected with her presence, strong, clear, undeniable. Her love found me in a moment of deep darkness, and I knew it was time to listen. To move. To remember.

In 2023, I moved to France with my family, answering her call and unknowingly following her footsteps. The land itself has become my teacher, whispering every step of the way with the memory of love, devotion, and embodied feminine wisdom.

My work has always been about returning to that essence and presence, seeing the divine within me and everyone, while acknowledging our humanity. I support humans, especially mothers and guides, through reparenting, intuitive intelligence, and sacred inner work, weaving together deep studies in trauma healing, spiritual psychology, meditation, and conscious parenting. I’ve trained with teachers like Dr. Shefali, Dr. Gabor MatĆ©, Suzi Lula, Ricci-Jane Adams, and Yvonne Laborde. Most recently, entering the sacred path of tantric lineage worshiping the Goddess.Ā  I'm also the founder of Sabios Parenting and Casa Damara, a Conscious Family Living community & retreat space in Pescadero, Mexico.

But before any of that, I am simply a woman walking the Path of the Rose. A guide who believes in the power of presence, remembrance, community, and sacred devotion.

It is my deepest joy and honor to walk this Magdalene path beside you.
