Regenerative Agriculture & Medicinal Plant Immersion with Nathália Muguet & Maria Violante

At Hotel Damara & Casa Damara · Pescadero, Mexico

An immersive journey into the intelligence of the living world, exploring regenerative agriculture, medicinal plants, soil, food, and the profound relationship between the health of the Earth and our own.

From Soil to Soul is an invitation to slow down, place your hands in the earth, and remember that regeneration is something we can participate in.

Through practical work on the land, teachings in syntropic agriculture and agroforestry, encounters with medicinal plants, shared meals, and moments of reflection, we begin to understand nature not simply as something surrounding us, but as a living system to which we belong.

When the Earth Becomes the Teacher

There is an intelligence in nature that existed long before us.

Forests know how to regenerate.
Plants know how to collaborate.
Living soil is continually transforming what has died into nourishment for what comes next.

During From Soil to Soul, we will learn to observe these processes more closely and explore what happens when we begin working with the rhythms of life rather than against them.

Guided by Nathália Muguet, we will enter the world of regenerative and syntropic agriculture through direct experience: observing living systems, preparing soil, planting, working with medicinal species, understanding succession and biodiversity, and learning how healthy ecosystems are created and maintained.

And throughout the experience, we will allow the teachings of the land to travel deeper.

What happens when regeneration moves from the soil into our relationships, our bodies, our families, and the way we live?

What You Will Explore

THE FOUR-DAY JOURNEY

Four days of learning directly from the land.

Each day of From Soil to Soul takes us deeper into the living systems around us — beginning with how nature organizes itself, moving into the regeneration of soil, then putting our hands into the earth to create and plant, and finally learning how plants can become medicine.

The journey moves from observation, to understanding, to practice, to integration.

From Soil to Soul will also include a cacao circle, a traditional temazcal experience, and nourishing seasonal vegetarian meals — creating space for connection, renewal, and integration throughout the retreat.

A Retreat for the Curious

You do not need to be a farmer, herbalist or gardener to participate.

This experience is for anyone who feels curious about the relationship between land, food, plants, health and conscious living.

You may already work with the land.

You may dream of creating a garden.

You may be interested in medicinal plants.

You may simply feel a longing to reconnect with nature and understand more deeply where your food comes from and how living systems actually work.

Come with curiosity.

The Earth will meet you there.

What You Will Learn

From Soil...

Healthy soil is not simply dirt.

It is a living community.

During our time together, we will explore the foundations of soil regeneration and discover how biodiversity, organic matter, succession, microorganisms, roots, plants and human stewardship work together to create fertile ecosystems.

Through hands-on learning, we will explore practices such as:

  • The foundations of syntropic agriculture and regenerative agroforestry
  • Understanding natural succession and stratification
  • Preparing and regenerating living soil
  • Building fertility through organic matter and biomass
  • Creating diverse and productive plant communities
  • Plant propagation, seedlings and seeds
  • Working intentionally with tools, pruning and harvesting
  • Observing how forests organize themselves — and what they can teach us about regeneration

This is learning through relationship: touching, planting, observing, tasting and participating in the ecosystem itself.

...To Soul

Regeneration does not end with the land.

Nature continually shows us another way of understanding life: diversity instead of uniformity, relationship instead of isolation, cycles instead of linearity, and transformation rather than waste.

As we work with the soil, we will create space to explore the inner dimensions of these same principles.

What are we cultivating?

What needs nourishment?

What are we ready to compost?

What conditions allow life — within us and around us — to flourish?

From Soil to Soul is an invitation to experience regeneration as both an ecological practice and a way of living.

Medicinal Plants & Living Herbalism

Plants carry stories, chemistry, aroma, nourishment and centuries of human relationship.

During the retreat, Nathália will introduce us to medicinal plants through an experiential and integrated approach to herbalism.

Depending on the land, season and plants available during our gathering, we will explore their cultivation, harvesting, properties and preparation — learning to encounter plants as living beings within a larger ecosystem rather than isolated ingredients.

We will explore the connection between:

Plants. Soil. Human health. Ecosystem health.

And the understanding that caring for one inevitably touches the others.
